The Little Book Thief…

September 15th, 2014

Ohhh look what arrived in my inbox today… beautiful photographs of my one of my latest creations… Grace, in her exquisite new home.

She has such an adorable, whimsical face which captures
her day-dreaming expression quite beautifully in this photograph.

Grace has beautiful dark brown hair tied with silk ribbon bows which match her pretty pale green silk dress perfectly…

On her feet she wears black patent leather laced up boots
As always, all clothing and undergarments are hand~sewn by me.

Grace was a specially commissioned piece, however, should you have any enquiries regarding her or any other piece please do e~mail me

She is breathtakingly beautiful. I haven’t read the book yet, nor did I watch the film, but you have definitely created a figurine that reflects the main character of that story. And at the same time a fantastic piece of art.

Awww Angelika thank you for your lovely comments… Grace is not actually based on Liesel from “The Book Thief, that being said when I was writing my blog post she did remind me of her sitting in the corner in the library reading, hence the title… and the quote at the end. Its a wonderful book and movie which I would highly recommend. Thank you again for your lovely comments… ♡

Grace looks beautiful Lisa! The dress is delightful! I particularly like the way you have caught her pensive facial expression too and the boots are AWESOME!
