Keeping It In The Family…

RegencyBoy1 copy

~SOLD~

George is my latest creation…
He is a sweet Regency boy of around four years of age
standing just 3 1/2 inches tall.

RegencyBoy2

Wearing a Regency costume made entirely of the finest lawn he wears cream breeches and a navy spencer with a large frilly white collar. As always all of which are hand~sewn.

RegencyBoy3

George has an enchanting yet mischievous little face with beautiful soulful brown eyes, rosy cheeks and cute wavy blonde hair worn in a style in keeping with the Regency period.

RegencyBoy4

Tiny pearl buttons adorn the front of George’s spencer jacket, his sleeves and trousers, a full white collar trimmed with frills completes the ensemble. He wears white stockings and black fine leather shoes.

RegencyBoy5

Attention to every aspect of each of my creations, no matter how small is of the utmost importance to me, my Mum would say of my dolls
“the difference is in the detail”… to this day it has served me well.

DadsPainting

~SOLD~

My Dad is reigniting his passion too for painting too… this is his first attempt at miniature painting, I think this little boy is quite perfect and a joint venture I think Mum would be proud.

    Dear Lisa
What a lovely surprise to see one of your beautiful dolls again – just what I needed to see on a Monday to make the day so much better. Your work is truly magnificent.
The second surprise was to see your Dad’s talent for miniature painting. Beautiful and delicate as your dolls.
I like the addition of Denby to your family tree here. Beautiful photo as all of your others. I am sure they were taken by Christian’s and his talented lens.

I am sure I can say on behalf of everyone what a joy it is to see and read one of your beautiful blog journals again.
Best wishes to you and your family.

[...] Mrs Bennett is fussing over her table, Beth the parlour maid has been called away to the front door by the post man and she is getting quite worried about her lovely table being set in time, her son George isn’t helping matters as he keeps moving things much to her annoyance. Another maid can be seen carrying linens up the stairs. You can read about George here… http://www.lisajohnsonrichards.com/blog [...]
