on display for Simon & Adèle to choose from…

Claudette, the Bakery owner approaches Simon & Adèle
and offers each of them a delicious macaroon to try…

Presenting Simon…
The second of two characters from a lovely
storybook of the same name.

Simon wears his school uniform of pale grey…
pantaloon style shorts, a white shirt and a orange jumper.
He wears a pale blue coat, with four buttons and two patch pockets.

Simon wears a bright yellow scarf
which because it is precariously placed around his shoulders
he’s sure to loose it, as he does in the book.

Simon is a cute little boy…
His dark wavy and unruly hair is covered by his grey school cap
framing his mischievous little face.

Simon wears grey untied laced boots, completing his ensemble…
is his satchel containing school work and colouring pencils.
As always, all hand~sewn and fabric is hand~dyed by me.

Presenting Adèle…
The first of two characters from a lovely
storybook of the same name.

Adèle, wears a pale peach dress, trimmed with a white collar…
over she wears a pale green coat, with double collar, four buttons and two patch pockets with buttons.

Tiny buttons along with six pin-tucks adorn her bodice…
and her dress has a ruche sash around the waist.
Her undergarments are simple, pretty and lace trimmed.

Adèle is a pretty child…
She has long blonde wavy hair which is pulled back under
a large straw hat which frames her sweet face.

At the back her hat has an oversized brown silk bow.
Brown patent leather buttoned boots complete her ensemble.
As always, all hand~sewn and fabric is hand~dyed by me.

Kitty’s dark hair is wavy and worn long while tiny curls frame
her sweet face… a large peach silk bow is worn at the back.

She wears dark brown stockings…
