The Dressing Room…

March 24th, 2011

This beautiful Edwardian lady is dressing… for her love, perhaps… ?
She is a Special Commission for a very special client…

Wearing a highly detailed silk corset, trimmed with vintage laces, silk ribbons and silk roses, it is laced at the back and tied in a bow…

Her bloomers have three tiny rows of pin-tucks and are trimmed with tiny vintage laces and frills. All hand stitched by my own hand…

Around her head she wears a silk ribbon which holds her hair in place and tiny ringlets frame her delicate face…

Presenting Molly… a little girl based upon a beautiful real~life toddler I couldn’t take my eyes off while sipping a Latte in a coffee shop…

Molly wears a simple fine lawn dress… with frills at her shoulders, and a matching bow in her hair. As always all seams are hand sewn.

Completing her ensemble are a pair of frilly white socks and real pink painted leather shoes with tiny pearl buttons.
